Distressed Antique Brass Centre Door Knob

The door pull in the photo is shown in the “distressed antique brass” finish. Like standard antique brass, the distressed antique brass is a "living" finish – designed so that with normal handling the raised areas wear to reveal the metal underneath, creating a naturally aged appearance not shown on cheaper alternatives. This differs from the standard antique brass by the metal also being barrel-rolled, to give a pitted effect and therefore a more rustic feel and appearance.

This centre door knob/door pull is available in over twenty-five other finishes, all of which are are very high quality, solid, cast brass or bronze, British made and individually finished by hand.

Centre door knobs are basically door pulls, which are fitted in the centre of a door. Unlike mortice knobs, these are sold as single items; they don’t twist/turn, as they don’t work a latch, but are bolted through from the internal side of the door, to give additional strength when pulling the door closed.
